Company electric car support: how long will the funding last?

The evaluation of the 2024 electric car support is currently underway. During this process, numerous businesses that wish to acquire electric cars can benefit from the 30 billion forint budget. In our article, we have compiled the current status of the application and the most important information!
Governmental support for electric cars: what is it actually?
This year's state support for electric cars can be used for up to 16 vehicles. A non-repayable amount between 2.8 million HUF and 4 million HUF can be obtained, but only for fully electric vehicles that are first registered in Hungary. The application can be submitted for both purchased and leased cars.
The support is divided between the Budapest and rural regions: in a ratio of 10.8 billion and 19.2 billion HUF. The amount of support that can be requested depends on the type of our vehicle, the gross capacity of its battery, and its net purchase price. The maximum price limit is 25 million HUF for vans and light trucks, while for passenger cars, it is 20 million HUF. If the total cost of the project exceeds the portion beyond the support, we must finance it from our own resources. Individuals cannot apply; only sole proprietors and economic organizations can.

If you are considering applying: the most important conditions for electric car support
Without claiming completeness:
you have at least one company established on or before 31st December 2021
as a sole proprietor, your revenue exceeds the costs of the project
your company's revenue exceeds the costs of the project based on the accounts of the previous complete, closed, and approved business year
your headquarters or branch office is located in Hungary and has a Hungarian tax number
as a taxi sole proprietor, your Taxi transport activity (TEÁOR 4932) has been registered by at least 1st December 2023.
